The Muslim Marriage Guide
Ruqaiyyah Waris Maqsood
This book fills the need for a guide for Muslim couples, married or planning marriage. The book draws on Islamic sources of the Quran and the Sunnah to discuss the main emotional, social and sexual problems that can afflict relationships, suggesting many practical ways in which these can be resolved.
Modern life brings strains and pressures, which can upset, even the most compatible relationship. This means that to protect the spirit of cooperation and happiness which is a sign of the true Islamic marriage, careful thought ought to be given to the ways that help husband and wife to live together and respect each other’s rights.
Me & Rumi
William Chittick
The Autobiography of Shams-i Tabrizi
Praise of the Book
“William Chittick’s masterful translation of the Maqalat of Shamsi Tabrizi moves Rumi’s beloved mentor from the shadows into the light, and restores Shams to the central position of prominence that he so richly deserves. This work immediately joins the indispensable short list of scholarly works on Rumi and his community. Highly recommended for all scholars and students of Sufism, Islamic Philosophy, Persian literature, and of course for all the legions of Rumi fans.” –Annemarie Schimmel
“Imagine that you could go somewhere each morning, say to a corner of the sugar merchants’ caravanserai, and hear Shams Tabriz talk about the veiling of the heart, the nature of exertion, or how to move beyond the agitated state of question and answer. This book gives entry into that astonishing presence. Go there for an hour a day, however long it takes. Then read Rumi’s poetry and feel their opening Friendship in you. Bless William Chittick.” – Coleman Barks

The Shape of Light
Shihabuddun al-Suhrawardi / tr. Tosun Bayrak
Hayakal al-Nur
“A house cannot be built without foundations. A foundation can exist without a house built upon it, yet the purpose of a foundation is to have a house built upon it… The religion is the tree, Sufism is its fruit. Islam is the shape of light, and Sufism is the light within the shape.” – Sh. Tosun Bayrak.
In Quest of God
Shaykh Yahya Maneri / tr. Paul Jackson
Maneri’s Second Collection of 150 Letters
In India in the years 1346-47 Sheikh Sharafuddin Maneri, wrote an outline of the Sufi Path to God in the form of a hundred letters to a disciple. This collection quickly became well known and has been translated as “Sharafuddin Maneri: The Hundred Letters”. In 1368 a disciple collected all the letters he could find of Maneri’s replies written to various individuals. This collection is presented here in this new publication. The letters offer spiritual and religious guidance and encouragement and serve as a complement to the earlier, more general collection.
Fifteen Letters
Shaikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani
This is a collection of fifteen letters by Shaikh ‘Abd al-Qadir al-Jilani to one of his disciples. Originally written in Persian, they were translated into Arabic by Shaykh ‘Ali Husamu’d-din al-Muttaqi (the Devout), who said of them, “… these letters comprise nuggets of wisdom and spiritual counsel, couched in various forms of allegory, metaphor, paraphrase and quotation, including approximately two hundred and seventy-five Qur’anic verses. They also contain allusions to the experiences and spiritual states of the Sufis (may Allah’s good pleasure be conferred upon them all).

Histories of the Khawajagan- the Masters of Wisdom
This book gives an account of the lives and teachings of a group of Sufi mystics known as the Khwajagan – the Masters of Wisdom. The Khwajagan lived in Central Asia between the 4th and the 9th centuries Hijri. The ranks of the Khwajagan include the great sufis Shaykhh ‘Abd al-Khaliq al-Ghujdawani and Shaykhh Baha’ al-Din Naqshband, who gave his name to the Naqshbandi order. The many branches of the Naqshbandiyya survive to this day.
This book is the first translation of the Rashahat into English and provides the present generation with clear and precise biographies of the great and genuine sufis who emerged in Turkestan at a most significant period.
