Yet, your heart still feels distant from Allah SWT. The ibadah you perform feels forced. A quiet question starts to linger: Why do I feel this way? Has my heart become hard? While the limbs may perform the physical movements, it is the heart that breathes life into worship. Sometimes, our warmth is met with hostility and our sacrifices are left unappreciated. So we begin to wonder: If trying to be a good person hurts this much, why should I keep trying? Perhaps it’s because we’ve always viewed relationships as social transactions that involve only people, never Allah. But what if we begin to view the people in our lives as amanah? That the unpredictability of human connections is part of ibadah? When we choose restraint instead of reaction, when we want to bond and love better, we are engaging in ibadah.

This book gently unpacks how relationships can become a path back to Allah. It is a call for us to shift the centre of evaluation away from the world and back to Who and what matters. When we begin to understand this, our journey with relationships and the way we view them take on a different meaning. They stop being measures of validation and become mirrors that reflect our relationship with Allah SWT.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/2514/8624/files/26_-_Post_Author_d22d5c9a-95bb-4c48-80df-68f47ac675a3.jpg?v=1785501237
