Jafri Janif, Illustrator

Chapbook, 36 pages with illustrations

Everything turned upside-down.

There was anger, confusion,

desperation and sadness.

We are told that every illness has a cure.

Everyone is rushing to look for the Cure.

But, are we already too late?

This is a story of the COVID-19 pandemic by Nuha Zahra, a nine-year-old Singaporean girl who lives in Abu Dhabi with her parents and younger sister Maryam. Nuha wrote this story in March 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to charities that support migrant workers affected by COVID-19.
