In this session, Ustazah Zahratur Rofiqah will speak about her new book, Alhamdulillah Through Tears and Trials.
This book is a deeply personal journey of the heart — a heart that struggles yet strives to find beauty in hardship. A heart that clings to faith, believing that for every test, Alhamdulillah is the key to endurance, peace, and divine love.
Zahratur Rofiqah is an educator based in Singapore, currently serving at the Singapore Islamic Scholars and Religious Teachers Association (Persatuan Ulama dan Guru-Guru Agama Islam Singapura, PERGAS). She first embarked on a pivotal chapter that nurtured her deep passion for Islamic studies when she did her foundational studies at Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah.
Zahratur went on to pursue higher education at the University of Jordan, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Fiqh and Usul Fiqh. She is now advancing her scholarly pursuits as a PhD candidate in Theology and Philosophy at the University of Darussalam Gontor.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Zahratur is a volunteer at a women's shelter, where she dedicates her time to empowering single mothers. Her commitment to social service extends to advocating for global causes, such as conducting campaigns to raise funds for Palestinian families in need.
