About the Author

Mohamed Imran Mohamed Taib is an independent writer and dialogue facilitator. He is founding director of Dialogue Centre, and founding Board member of Centre for Interfaith Understanding (CIFU). He also sits on the advisory board of the National Museum Singapore. A Philosophy graduate, he writes and researches on issues of multiculturalism, interfaith and Islam in Malay society. He has 5 publications, two of them currently available in Wardah Books: Remembering Singapore River (2023) and Syed Hussein Alatas and the School of Autonomous Knowledge (2026). His commentaries have been published in various local and international newspapers.
