About the Programme

LAS is kicking into 2025 with another run of Poetry for Peace since our first edition was held in November 2023! With over a year of the ongoing genocide in Palestine (and the decades that stretched before), our increasing awareness of conflicts across the region and globe from Sudan, Congo, Syria, to Lebanon and beyond, we want to continue doing our part and holding space for resistance through art and the spoken word.

About the Open-Mic

8 open mic slots available. Open miccers will be required to submit their work for vetting. If more than 8 open miccers apply, the final performers will be selected through a randomiser. Confirmed open miccers will be refunded their ticket.
