Seekers Book Club: Green Deen

In collaboration with @Maktaba Books and @Green FiTree, Wardah Books is hosting a bookclub for Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet by the late Ibrahim Abdul-Matin, environmental activist and urban strategist.

In this session, we will explore what environmentalism and sustainability mean to Muslims and how we can turn to alternative paradigms of thinking about climate change grounded in Islamic principles. It will be a discussion that connects faith with environmental stewardship, helping us develop personal insights to inform our daily lives.

Join us for a thought-provoking conversation that merges spirituality with practical action. Let’s learn, reflect, and grow together!

To benefit most from this session, we recommended reading the book Green Deen: What Islam Teaches About Protecting the Planet by Ibrahim Abdul-Matin before the session.
