Baraka Blue is a poet, musician, author, and teacher from Seattle, Washington. He runs the Rumi Center for Spirituality and the Arts and hosts the award-winning podcast Path & Present. His published poetry works include Reedbed Diaspora, Empty and the Ocean, and his latest, The Art of Remembrance. In this recording of a session conducted at Wardah Books titled Truth & Beauty, Baraka speaks about the book The Art of Remembrance and discusses the concepts of truth and beauty. The session is opened by Singaporean writer Ameera Aslam who launched her sophomore poetry collection, These Ramadan Lights.
