This book analyzes a specific topic in Sufism (tasawwuf), namely, the existence of our master, Abu'l-Abbas al-Khidr [the Green Wise-Man], and proving his being alive or dead. It presents the opinions of those for and against it, with their proofs, as well as prophetic hadiths about it.
Moreover, this book investigates the existence of one specific category of Awliya' (saints)-may Allah's Good Pleasure be upon them!— namely, the Abdal (the Substitute Saints), and how many of them exist, and where do they exist in the world. This book also investigates the other categories of Ahl al-Diwan (may Allah's Good Pleasure be upon them!) such as: the Nujaba (the Nobles), the Awtad (the Spiritual Pegs), the Aqtab (the Axial Saints), and the Ghawth (the Supreme Saint), and the Ghawth refers to one specific individual who resides in Mecca Mukarrama.
