The Burdah of Sayyida Khadija (May Allah be pleased with her) is a poem based on the literary style of the famous Qasida Burdah of Imam Busiri. Due to the acceptance that this poem has received universally and spiritually, Sufi saints and scholars have used it as the framework to praise members of the Ahl al-Bayt. Such as Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari, who used this structure for his Burda Hasaniyya wa'l-Husayniyya, and Ibrahim bin 'Ali al-Habshi, who has used it to enumerate the virtues of Sayyida Khadija. Shaykh Ibrahim bin 'Ali al-Habshi was inspired with this poem on 11th Safar 1434AH, after the Fajr prayer. Like Imam Busiri, Ibrahim bin Ali has maintained the ten chapters, with the first as an introduction and the last chapter petitioning to Allah.
