This work by Sheikh Mozaffer Ozak al-Jerrahi – translated into English for the first time by Muhtar Holland – charts the Sufi spiritual path and discipline through discourse and dialogue, story and prayer, scriptural commentary and spontaneous mystical teachings in worship and action.

Sheikh Muzaffer Ozak al-Jerrahi was born in Istanbul in 1916. (d 1985) He was educated by a succession of wise and learned teachers who instructed him in all branches of the Islamic tradition. He became Muezzin and eventually Imam to many of the mosques of Istanbul.
